Warrnambool Coastcare Landcare Network fosters and supports a network of like-minded community organisations and agencies such as:

Through the Middle Island Project Working Group we partner with Warrnambool City Council, Deakin University, Department of Environment, Land, Water & Planning and Parks Victoria. Warrnambool Coastcare Landcare has unique links with staff and students at the Warrnambool campus which offers highly regarded Marine and Freshwater Biology courses.  Deakin has partnered with us from the start of the internationally famous Middle Island Project where Maremma dogs are protecting a Little Penguin colony. Each year, dozens of Deakin students volunteer with us. Some stay with us for many years and take on committee and project leadership roles.
